If you messaged or commented on our Instagram account
When you send a direct message to @leakvoidhq or comment on one of our posts, Meta gives us your Instagram-scoped ID (a number that identifies you only to our account), your message or comment, and links to anything you send. We do not ask Meta for your profile details, and we do not download what you send. We delete messages and comments 30 days after the last message in the conversation.
To have them deleted sooner:
- Send the word "delete" in a direct message to @leakvoidhq from the Instagram account you used.
- We delete what we hold from your messages and comments within 7 days and reply to confirm.
If you can't send a message from that account, email hello@leakvoid.com with your Instagram username. We'll ask you to send the "delete" message from that account, so we know the request comes from you.
If you asked us to stop, we keep only your Instagram-scoped ID and the date so we don't message you again, even after you ask us to delete your messages. We delete it when we stop using Instagram messaging.
Our backups are kept for up to 7 days, so deleted data can stay in a backup for up to 7 days after we delete it. We use backups only to restore our systems.
